- All members of the community may participate in the event which includes a scavenger hunt to find our themed potted planters throughout the neighborhood and an opportunity to vote digitally for their favorites in three categories:
- Most Creative
- Most Colorful
- Best Execution of Theme
- All members of the community may volunteer to create art along Riverfront Park by registering for one or both days
- Residents, home, and business owners are encouraged to participate in our themed potted planter contest.
This event takes place in the Harrisburg neighborhood of Shipoke. Shipoke is an eclectic population of slightly more than 400, residing in 200 dwellings. We are retirees and young families with children, business owners and physicians, lawyers and bankers, journalists and educators, artists and artisans, elected officials and government workers, and members of the clergy. Our commonality, however, is that we share an old-fashioned concern for each other, which contributes to the enduring strength and unique charm of Shipoke. Visit us at http://www.shipoke.org
